Robert E. Drane

After earning a Master of Arts Degree in Literature from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Bob Drane embarked on a 35-year corporate career with Quaker Oats and Oscar Mayer. He became a recognized leader in new product development, leading the team that invented the Lunchables © brand. For over a decade, Bob taught innovation and marketing at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Graduate School of Business. After retiring, his interest turned to studying and writing about early American history. He is an avid collector of original 19th-century archival material, maps, and photographs.
