Fatima Esquivel Benjamin grew up in the mountains of Costa Rica, surrounded by the vibrant biodiversity of the tropical jungle. At twelve, she moved with her family to Indiana, where she later earned her Bachelor's degree from Purdue University (Boiler Up!), double majoring in Professional Writing and Media & Mass Communication.
She is currently pursuing her MA in Publishing and Writing at Emerson College. Along the way, Fatima has gained hands-on experience in marketing, design, editing, and writing.
Passionate about storytelling and representation, she aspires to build a career in publishing, advocating for diverse books and amplifying underrepresented voices. As a Latina, Fatima brings a multicultural perspective to her work and believes in the power of words to inspire, connect, and spark change.
