Emily Goyanes
Publishing Intern
Emily Goyanes was born and raised in sunny Southern California. She received a BA in English and minors in Creative Writing and Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, while also spending most of her time working in a bookstore or reading. She is currently an Emerson College graduate student, where she is pursuing an MA in Publishing and Writing.
Emily now works at a smaller, if not more charming, bookstore in the Boston area. While she has gained experience in quite a few areas of publishing, her heart lies in editorial, and she spends most of her time outside of work and class reading her friends’ manuscripts and short stories.
