PRAISE AND REVIEWS

  • "As someone who has experienced devastating loss as I entered my senior years, I was drawn to Ann Evans's book. I was not disappointed. Ann writes with raw and balanced clarity. She is right - we must allow ourselves to mourn - and in that mourning we will find our own paths to healing. I highly recommend this book.”

  • "A well written book that is helpful to anyone who has experienced loss. It is a very compelling account of devastating loss, pain, anguish, despair, repair and recovery; a testament to the value and necessity of supportive family, friends and professionals to regain physical and mental health. The proactive perseverance and strength of character of the author are exemplary.”

  • "Ann Evans not only takes the reader on her journey of recovery but more importantly, shares with us her profound thoughts about spirituality, forgiveness, friendship (her angels), the legal nightmare, and retirement. She opens her heart so that we can understand at increasingly deeper levels how to make sense, move on, and rebuild a life no matter what it brings our way. A lesson we all need to learn.
